After you have opened a document for translation, you can directly launch the Start Assistant, which converts the document to a MetaTexis document and lets you set the most important options (for more information, see the Start Assistant).
You do not have to use this command, though. When a non-MetaTexis document is active and you execute one navigation command, MetaTexis will ask you whether you want to translate this document and launch the Start Assistant.
